01Three flows, one app

CommerceNerve runs inside Shopify admin. It brings your NetSuite catalog and customers into Shopify, sends shipment tracking from NetSuite to your Shopify orders, and lists your store's orders for reporting.

How CommerceNerve works Flow 1: products, stock, prices and selected customers sync from NetSuite through CommerceNerve into Shopify. Flow 2: when an order is fulfilled in NetSuite, CommerceNerve reads the fulfillment and its tracking number and creates or updates the fulfillment in Shopify. 02Merchant setup journey

From install to daily use: what the merchant does, and where in the app each step happens.

03Sync from NetSuite

What happens when the merchant clicks Sync, and which system does each step. Only records that changed are sent to Shopify.

04Fulfillment and tracking sync

When an order has been fulfilled in NetSuite, one click on the order page reads its tracking number from NetSuite and creates or updates the Shopify fulfillment.

Fulfillment and tracking sync, step by step On the order page the merchant clicks Tracking update by NetSuite; the app reads the Item Fulfillment created from the order's NetSuite sales order, stops with a message if it is not fulfilled or has no tracking yet, otherwise creates the Shopify fulfillment or updates its tracking, and saves the tracking number, URL and fulfillment ID on the order. 05Store orders

Orders placed at checkout reach the app by a verified webhook and appear in Order Log and Finance. They are not sent to NetSuite.

06How records are linked

The app keeps a small link for each product, customer and order, so both systems always point at the same record and a second sync never creates a copy.

07What CommerceNerve saves

Only the fields each feature needs to link NetSuite and Shopify records, listed feature by feature.

08Security and privacy

How every request is checked, and what happens when Shopify sends a privacy request.

Security and privacy Every request is signature-checked, scoped to one store, access-logged with IDs only and stored encrypted. customers/data_request records the request and prepares a report; customers/redact deletes that customer's data; shop/redact, sent 48 hours after uninstall, deletes the store's data unless the app was reinstalled.
